What is Life Coaching?

Through conversation, clients are helped to understand why they find themselves in their current situation and then to find strategies, motivation and focus to design and move forward to a new, better situation.

It is CBT – a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy – a talking therapy, aimed at increasing human happiness.

Life Coaching differs from Counselling in that it is primarily focused on the present and the future. It may be necessary to look back to find the route causes of some unhelpful thinking patterns and then untie some knots however we come back to ‘Where we are now?’ and the ‘Where do we want to go?’

I use a cognitive approach to coaching, dealing with the world the way it is – not the way we wished it were. I will help you to ensure that your view of the world and not your place within it, are accurate. When that is in place, we can move forward. I’ll keep you positive, resourceful and focussed.

As a skilled Life Coach, I able to use my skills to help clients shake free from the negative influences of your past and set off on your journey into the future with fresh hope and a clear plan of where you would like to be and how you can get there.
